For several days now, I have committed to minimize my red meat consumption. This is in compliance with my doctor's prescription to strengthen my immune system. Last week, I consumed mostly chicken and fish. Today, in agreement with the husband, is my cheat day. Since we value our weekends because it is the only time we can really get to spend quality time together, we decided that Sundays will be exempted from my chicken-fish-seafood diet (we both love our steaks!)
Today, he prepared these really cute mini-pizzas for lunch. Husband is actually more versed in the kitchen so I am grateful for these little things (literally!) that he does for me. Pizza was made of salami and olives.
This is how the pizzas looked like after baking.
Today, I am grateful for a husband who is a homebody, a cook, a gardener, a mechanic, and a "tinkerman" wrapped in one. I am lucky.
How about you loves? How did your Sunday go?
xx,
