A Garden of your Own

"You know the value of things if you start paying for them," husband quipped one morning when we were doing some home improvement. "You have to take care of the things you invest in."

Funny that should come from him. We have stayed at our new home for about eight months now and we have been engaging in some DIY projects once in a while. Our new preoccupation is our garden. We initially thought of an aesthetic one but we have decided to create our own little vegetable garden like this one (got this from www.houzz.com) --

This garden project is a nice pastime for couples. Husband and I always want to buy something for our garden. We keep two small lawn in front of the house -- this is where we keep the orchids and other pretty plants --

 

 

 

and the "still-crude" herb and veggie garden / grill area at the back of our house --

So excited for my crops to grow. More than that, I wish to improve this little patch of green happiness soon! Someday it would look like this sans those big trees at the back, haha (design from www.patiodesigndepot.com) --
