Self-confessed bookworms always say too many books, too little time. I can totally relate. I always feel like I am running out of time. I have books that I bought that are still unopened!
I am the type of reader who would buy cheap paperbacks more than using Kindle or any book reader. I love smelling my books and feeling the pages in my hands. However, since I would lug them around, I don't get the hard covers (plus the fact that they are many times more expensive). So, you can say I appreciate the substance more than the style.
Last March, I got invited to join a book club. Because of this, my book genre is expanding and I have some books now that you would never see in my bookshelf before. So for April, I have this target reading list. Hmm, barely 15 days to go before the month ends, so wish me luck!
1. Ilustrado by Miguel Syjuco - current read
2. Fahrenheit by Ray Bradbury - done
3. Losing It by Cora Carmack
4. The Arabian Nights by Sir Richard Burton
5. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
6. Book Thief by Markus Zusak
7. World War Z by Max Brooks
8. Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Gailbraith (JK Rowling)
9. Lover's Dictionary by David Levithan - done
10. Inspirations - Paulo Coelho
Two out of ten and eight more to go. Hmm, guess I will be burning the midnight candle losing myself on these books this coming Holy Week.
How about you, loves? Have you read any of these books? How do you find them? Holler up!
UPDATE as of 5/3/2014: Of course I did no finish. Haha. Gonna make this my list for the whole summer.
