I have this crazy thing about planners. I love planners!
Every year, I drink probably a cup more than my usual coffee intake and fulfill a tradition to get those "free" planners from the coffee shops. When you are in corporate, you would need all the coffee you can get and I was soo lucky to have a team of caffeine addicts! Haha. By the time Christmas comes, I receive some more planners from this company and that company as Christmas giveaways. In the end, everything is so nice in its own right that I cannot figure out which one I would use.
All the planners you see above would have some writings on the first three pages or so and then nothing after February, haha! I haven't even used any coupon that usually comes with it!
So this time around, I would probably ditch the planner collection because of the following:
1. I need to save since there are more important financial priorities. (Tsk, why haven't I figured this out before, haha)
2. I do not actually use them.
3. Less paper waste.
4. There is nothing are very few things to plan; unlike before when I had an insurmountable amount of meetings and to-dos. For now, most of my consultancy work schedule and writing deadlines are conveniently with Google calendar and synced it with my phone.
So there. I think I have good enough reasons to stay away from my planner tradition. Of course, all the things I mentioned above are just my justifications. Waahhh! The real reason why I couldn't get my planners is because I cannot should not drink coffee anymore! Tsk! So there. Sigh...
But it's all good. Because really. I do not use them...
At all...
Right? So yeah... I might ditch the planner this year.
Seriously.
